Give it a go
Learn to row
We run a Learn to Row course in the spring each year. Dates for the 2025 course will be confirmed nearer the time and shown here.
A reasonable level of strength and fitness is required in order to take part in the course. The course consists of six 2 hour sessions and is comprised of a combination of land and water training. We aim for course graduates to be able to scull in a single so it is important that if you sign up to the course you can attend all sessions.
Sessions start at 10 am. Should there be adverse weather or river conditions we may have to reschedule any affected date.
Please note that we currently don’t offer Learn to Row courses for under 18’s.
